As long as I can remember I have always had a passion for acting. At the age of five I enjoyed being on stage, and even at the age of two, I Ioved being in front of a camera and in the spotlight. Imagine seeing a two year old pose for the camera! That passion for being on stage and in the spotlight has yet to fade. I was told once that acting is seen as unrealistic and almost impossible, but there is nothing that is impossible to me. One thing that people tend to question is, how can someone that seems so quiet and reserved want to be an actress? But, as soon as I hit the stage, or the cameras start rolling, people see a side of me that can portray characters that are totally different from myself. I love being able to learn about different people and different types of lives that people live just through studying a character and turning them into a real everyday person. To me, its so beautiful to see actors turn something so simple as a character into a lesson, that people who watch at home can learn something from and feel for others just like that character. As much as I dream to be an actor, I also dream to make change. I want to use acting as a way to encourage change, push for human understanding, and showcase the wonderful art of acting through my eyes. Not only do I want to be in the spotlight, but I want to be someone in spotlight for young black girls who dream to be more and do more with God by their side. Like Barbie says "Anything is possible!"
